Doing a dining room with a round table this week for a young couple with children but also like to entertain frequently. I loved the classic lines of this chair and also the yellow tones mixed with the espresso finish on the dining table. Black and white photography add nice texture and dimension on the back wall. Nail head trim adds a nice detail and tends to take your eye around the design of the chair. I hope they like the direction as much as I do…
Another option that caught my eye although we do not have to upholster in a two tone fashion. I like the style of this one although it might be a bit edgy for them. Again, a nice study of “edgy traditional” . Is there such a thing? I found these chairs perfect for this Palos Verdes Estates design job at Plush Home.

In the search for dining room chairs for a young couple, this chair also came to my attention right away. I love the cut out back detail and its progressive presence. I would do a nice satin lacquer finish on it so it has more style longevity. I am fearful of some of these highly polished color lacquers might not be so great in 5 years.

Any thoughts?

I love these yellow chairs. As you noted, they balance the dark espresso finish of the table beautifully. Bravo!
